Creating a Friendly Voice
Bordo was a local Birmingham B2B SaaS startup designed to help small businesses grow their social presence without the prohibitive markup of other social media management platforms. When Bordo was still in its nascent days, I was tasked with ownership of the visual and copy branding, creating a color palette as well as establishing the tone and voice for the brand and all acquisition funnel assets.
Bordo the Otter was created to serve as a product guide and friendly face, so I wanted a tone that matched that energy. I created copy and graphic directions for the primary marketing site, as well as spinning up initial blog content that doubled the platform’s early user base.
